Employability
Employability is being ready for work that is paid.Â
In this unit, you will learn what skills you will need to be employable and how you can get better at them. You will also learn about the different jobs which can be done in Travel and in Tourism.
Task 1
Before you start this unit, you should come up with a list of your strengths and weaknesses. Examples of strengths and weaknesses could be things like:
Communicating with other people
Working as part of a team
Investigating things and researching
Making and following plans
Personal presentation
Reflecting on how things have gone
Task 2
For each of your weaknesses, come up with ideas of how you could improve them using your work placement or work in class.
